Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Phuentsholing
On arrival in Phuentsholing you will be welcomed by HBT staffs and proceed for permit formality. if time permits we will escort for the sightseeing. Overnight in Phuentsholing, altitude 250m

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu (6 hrs)
After the breakfast, we will drive to see nearby Zangtog Pelri Lhakhang in the heart of the town and Kharbandi Gonpa before proceeding to Thimphu. The drive to Thimphu is very scenic, once we climb up from the Indian plain to Bhutan foot hills through beautiful forest, towns and road side villages. Our drive will pass through Gedu, Chukha, Chuzom before emerging ourselves into the only multi culture city in Bhutan. Check into the hotel, evening we will explore the city by walk. Overnight in Thimphu, 2300m

Day 3: Thimphu sightseeing
Morning visit the weekend market, Handmade paper Mill, School of Arts and crafts where students learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan. Afternoon drive pass by Memorial Chorten (temple) built in memory of the late 3rd King. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley, Enclosure where national animal, Takin are kept and Zilukha Nunnery. Overnight in Thimphu

Day 4: Punakha to Paro (1.2 hrs)
Retrace the drive to Paro. Visit the National Museum, the first of its kind which has a collection from natural history to religious paintings. Visit 17 century Paro Dzong (Fortress) on foot and continue walking through the oldest wooden bridge still in use. Evening stroll old Paro town and peep into some local handicrafts stores. One can also venture to try local restaurant for dinner. Overnight in Paro, altitude 2200m

Day 5: Paro sightseeing
Visit Kichu Lhakhang, one from the 2 oldest temple in the country, historic Drukgyal Dzong (Fortress) and hike to Tiger’s Nest, the most revered temple in the country that literally hangs on a granite cliff overlooking the Paro Valley or optional chelela pass excursion if you are not going to Tiger Nest and Drukgyel Dzong. Evening back to the hotels and relax. Overnight in Paro

Day 6: Paro to Phuentsholing (6 hrs)
Checkout from the hotel after the breakfast and drive to Phuentsholing. En-route we will walk to this private temple Tachog Lhakhang crossing beautiful suspension bridge and further we will drive down to Phuentsholing for the night halt. The entire drive is very scenic and wonderful experience when we look back our journey after reaching crowed border town. Overnight in Phuentsholing

Day 7: Departure:
End of the tour

  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), porterage.
  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Entrance Fees & Guide charges.
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Travel Insurance.
  • Anything which is not include in the inclusion.

  • Price mentioned is on per person on twin sharing basis. (Based on Minimum 2 pax)
  • Bookings are subject to availability with the hotel.
  • Every tourist should send a Xerox copy of their voter's identity card or passport and three passport size photographs at least ten days before the tour starts. Tourists should carry their id cards at all times during the tour.
  • Company does not have any liability if the tour is cancelled or itinerary changed during the tour due to any unpredictable event.
  • Company does not cover insurance in case of any accidents or loss of belongings, etc.
  • Do not carry Indian Rs 500 or Rs 1000 currency notes.
  • Tobacco & Tobacco products are banned in Bhutan.
  • Do not bring any plant or agricultural product out of Bhutan. It is illegal.
  • Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan.
